August Workshop: Automation in Action: A Hands-On Workshop with AI + Copilot

Description

This hands-on morning workshop is designed to move beyond hype and into real, working automation. 

Participants will use Microsoft Copilot Studio alongside custom AI and machine learning methods to build end-to-end workflows. Pitt Technology Group IT Director Jacob Butcher will interact directly with attendees as they dive into Copilot Studio—connecting data, building flows, generating summaries, and designing agent-driven tasks with minimal code. Next, PTG’s Jesse Thomas will lead users in a session that demonstrates how to train and deploy a predictive model, turning raw data into usable output through an advanced machine learning techniques. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops and build alongside Jake and Jesse as they build AI workflows from scratch, or take in the demonstrations from the audience.

This hands-on workshop will tackle both custom AI development and low-code workflow orchestration. Join us on August 14th to build, explore, and see real automation in action.
