Position Summary

This position is for a career-driven technician who:

  • Support business and retail clients in both remote and onsite environments; Takes pride in solving complex problems
  • Work independently on most issues while reporting to a senior level manager for guidance, oversight, and escalation when necessary
  • Collaborate on multi-layered projects
  • Communicates professionally with business clients; the ideal candidate should have solid technical fundamentals and troubleshoot confidently without constant supervision but knows when to ask for Team support
  • Wants long-term advancement

Core Responsibilities

  • Providing advanced on-site IT support to business clients
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues
  • Supporting Microsoft environments (Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure)
  • Managing networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems)
  • Assisting with server installations and maintenance
  • Participating in infrastructure upgrades and client projects
  • Onboarding new clients, including environmental assessments and deployment
  • Coordinating and working directly with third-party vendors (ISP, VoIP, security, software providers)
  • Maintaining clean documentation and professional client communication
  • Manage multiple service tickets while meeting response expectations
  • Escalate appropriately while maintaining ownership of assigned issues

You will represent ACIS directly to clients in a professional manner.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience (Required)
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across systems, networks, and endpoints
  • Experience in business IT environments (MSP experience is a major plus)
  • Knowledge of EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) solutions
  • Familiarity with MDR (Managed Detection & Response) environments and security best practices
  • Detail oriented with strong documentation habits
  • Clear, confident communication skills
  • High personal accountability
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • In-person availability, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Preferred but not required:

  • CompTIA, Microsoft, or other industry certifications
  • Experience with cloud migrations
  • Cybersecurity-focused mindset
