On August 1 we'll cover the hot topic of What's new in Cyber Security Insurance, presented by Austin Allen, Account Executive Officer at Travelers Insurance. This is a great opportunity to learn more about trends, requirements, recommendations, and predictions for this important matter that touches every organization. Managing risk in modern times includes cybersecurity risk. Every organization needs to consider cybersecurity risk, and businesses and non-profits of all sizes educate themselves about current options in cybersecurity insurance as one way to manage that risk. 

Austin Allen started his professional career in the insurance industry with Travelers in 2019. He is currently an Account Executive Office for Travelers Bond & Specialty Insurance Management Liability division. He is responsible for marketing and underwriting for private companies and not-for-profit organizations Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, Kidnap & Ransom, and Cyber Liability insurance for the Travelers Midwest region. Currently serves as the Midwest regions Cyber Resident Expert. Austin graduated from University of Arkansas in 2017, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, with a Minor in Marketing.

The efactory is just north of the Downtown Square at 405 North Jefferson Avenue in downtown Springfield. Event is held in the Jay Wasson Idea Loft on the second level. Take the stairs on the west side of the building or the elevator located near the middle of the building. If you enter the building from the back lot (Lot 47, west side of the building), you’re right below the Jay Wasson Idea Loft.

Additional info:
• The majority of parking is available in the back lot (Lot 47) at the corner of Boonville & Phelps, right outside the west side entrance of the efactory.
• Limited parking spots for guests are in Lot 47A, directly in front of the building.
• Free street parking is available on many streets downtown near the efactory.
• Overflow parking is available in Lot 48.
• The east side of the building says “Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center.” Large murals are on the west side of the building.
