Don Chenevert, Jr., Deputy General Counsel at SRC Holdings, Inc., will present essential information on contracts, including confidentiality, intellectual property, and dispute resolution. The session will include a case study to enhance interaction and understanding of this month's important subject. 

Speaker bio: As in-house counsel, Don delivers enterprise-wide legal services to the holding company and more than a dozen active subsidiaries and affiliates. Prior to joining SRC in August 2015, Don served as in-house counsel for Caterpillar Inc. in India, Singapore and the United States from 2000 to 2015. From 1993 through 1999, he practiced law with Locke Lord LLP (formerly Lord, Bissell & Brook). A 1993 graduate of Emory University School of Law, Don served as the Associate Editor of the Emory International Law Review. He is a licensed attorney in Georgia, Illinois and Missouri. Don is active in multiple business and civic organizations. He currently serves on the Springfield-Greene County Park Board, the board of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the local Ozark Trails Council’s Scouting BSA board.

Directions

Located at the efactory in the Jay Wasson Idea Loft, on the second level. Take the stairs on the west side of the building or the elevator located near the middle of the building. The efactory is just north of the Downtown Square at 405 North Jefferson Avenue in downtown Springfield. There is a guest lot (Lot 47A) directly in front of the building that you can park in.

A few things to know:

Free street parking is available on many streets downtown near the efactory.

The outside of the building says “Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center.”

MSU permits are required to park in Lots 47 and 48.

The lot north of Jordan Valley Innovation Center may be used for overflow parking.
