We are seeking skilled Audio, Video, & Lighting Systems Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and configuring audio, video, and lighting equipment. As an AVL Installer, you will be responsible for setting up and troubleshooting audio, video, & lighting systems, ensuring they meet our clients' specifications and Avixa standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure audio, video, and lighting equipment, including rack assembly and installation of cable management and cable dressing, and perform cable pulls, termination (including soldering), equipment mounting, and rigging.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installations meet requirements.
• Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure functionality
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Provide training and support to clients on system operation

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Audio, Video, & Lighting Systems Installer or similar role
• Familiarity with Avixa standards and practices
• Strong knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift weights in excess of 50 lbs
• Ability to work at heights on ladders, scaffolds, and lifts
• Use of power tools including drills, hammer drills, various saws and other equipment

Qualifications, Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Post-secondary school training preferred
• Prior low-voltage cable installation experience
• The ability to read blueprints
• Basic programming skills are a plus
• CTS or CTS-I Certifications
• Familiar with Q-Sys, Crestron, Extron, Microsoft Teams, Biamp, and Dante
• Familiar with implementing A\V Networking and AV over IP
• OSHA 10

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Avixa AV TECHNOLOGIST CERTIFICATE or CTS or CTS-I (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
