We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team at SRC Holdings Corp. You will be responsible for designing, installing, and supporting critical technology systems, including telephony, Wi-Fi, wired networks, firewalls, and VPNs. These systems form the backbone of our IT infrastructure, ensuring business continuity and success.

Network Engineer – What You’ll Do
Network Operations: Provide advanced support for network hardware and software, including configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems.
Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize infrastructure tools such as monitoring systems, inventory tracking, and network documentation.
Security and Compliance: Stay current with emerging technologies and cybersecurity standards, including the NIST framework, to enhance system reliability and security.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions, resolve complex issues, and improve network performance.
Facility Systems Support: Oversee and support low-voltage systems, including door access control, surveillance, PA, A/V, conferencing, and telephony systems.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance network performance and reliability through proactive problem-solving and regular assessments.

Experience and Education
3-5 years of experience supporting campus and datacenter networks
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, IP addressing, subnetting, and troubleshooting tools (e.g., ping, tracert, nslookup).
Degree in Computer Information Systems, Network Administration, or related field or equivalent experience and certifications (e.g. Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Meraki)
Skills
Expertise in TCP/IP networking, including Cisco and Meraki solutions.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with network automation and cloud networking tools preferred.
